WHY WORK WITH US?
"Joey" was produced for a Muay Thai coach looking to brand herself differently. Unlike conventional action-packed videos, we focused on being authentic and clear. An intimate piece on emerging from adversity wiser and more determined, this video exemplifies our ability to tell a compelling story, simply and effectively.
SELECTED
PROJECTS

FIRST VIDEO IN 80 YEARS
Kian Huat Restaurant
A traditional catering business wanted to promote their collaboration with a clubhouse. Given their low public profile, we prioritised establishing credibility. We wanted genuine connection with viewers. Inspired by the owner's passion, we developed a script that invites viewers into his world - his roots, values and craft, relying on the authenticity to build trust and engagement. Our client said the video exceeded expectations.
ADAPTING TRADITION
Project on Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh
A client wanted to investigate how a household brand remained relevant. Working off his script, we shot and edited this video within a very short timeline. With an emphasis on narrative integrity, we ensured the disparate spoken content was edited into a coherent story. We also pursued revealing behind-the-scenes footage to provoke viewer interest, and presented them in a meaningful visual structure that complemented the spoken content. Overall, we wanted the visuals to also convey the sense that keeping the business relevant is very much a hands-on endeavour.
RECRUITING STUDENTS
Triple Threat Basketball School
For marketing/recruitment videos, our starting point is to avoid the pitfalls of either chasing too much after the spectacular and falling flat, or including too much information leading to disengagement. We thus prioritised authenticity in this project with a basketball school. Beyond showcasing lessons and conveying information, we wanted to move viewers with genuine accounts of people they can relate to. We did that primarily by blending multiple perspectives (those of parents, students and coach) that reinforce the core message - a school that cares as much about the individual as they do about their performance. The video quickly garnered high viewership.
